Name: Pretty Vicious
Hometown: Merthyr Tydfil
Download: Cave Song
South Wales based four piece Pretty Vicious, hotly tipped by critics, and recently signed by Virgin EMI Records are the perfect hybrid between The Libertines and The Subways, something unique, fresh and raw in the market. The snarling guitar riffs from Tom McCarthy and Brad Griffiths’ raspy lead vocals combine to create such a feeling of euphoria in their debut track ‘Cave Song’ its pretty clear that this band will be going places in 2015.

Since signing, news of this band has infected the alternative music scene, and they have been named as one of XFM’s “Great X-Pectations” and have also been announced to play Isle of Wight Festival 2015, on the “Big Top Stage” alongside other emerging bands such as Coasts.
One song, two gigs and a recording contract, Pretty Vicious are definitely ones to watch this year.
