Square Enix and Applibot, Inc have announced that a special event will be coming to NieR Re[IN]carnation to celebrate the game reaching 15 million downloads.
First launched back in February 2021, the action-adventure RPG takes place in a realm known as The Cage. Populated by ghostly figures, players explore The Cage, travel through dreams and battle a creature called the Dark Monster. With the help of the ghost-like Mama, players piece together the story of an amnesiac young girl and discover the ultimate goal of the Dark Monster.
To celebrate the download milestone, players will be able to participate in a series of in-game events until September 23. During this time, there will also be additional login bonuses for Gems and the ability to perform free 10x Summons.
This event comes as it was announced that there will be a crossover with the English and Korean versions of NieR Replicant ver 1.22474487139, where players will be able to earn medals, gems and exclusive rewards such as the Iron Pipe weapon while interacting with characters from the wider world of NieR for a limited time.
NieR Re[IN]carnation is available now for iOS and Android. NieR Replicant ver 1.22474487139 is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
