Directed by Matthew Dunster, 2:22 A Ghost Story follows Jenny and Sam, a young couple who have just moved into their new home. While Jenny believes that something spooky looms in the house, Sam isn’t as easily convinced. After inviting old friend Lauren and her new partner Ben over for dinner, the conflict between belief and scepticism reaches its peak as the group attempt to uncover the mysterious secret the house conceals.  As old wounds are reopened, audiences are taken on an adrenaline-fueled night where they’ll start ask themselves one important question—“what do you believe?”

Girls Aloud star Cheryl will star as Jenny, alongside Hugo Chegwin as Ben, Louise Ford as Lauren and Scott Karim as Sam.

The production initially made its debut at the Noel Coward Theatre in 2021 and starred Lily Allen, Julia Chan, Hadley Fraser and Jake Wood. It subsequently transferred to the Gielguld Theatre for a short run before heading to the Criterion Theatre in 2022 where it ran until 8 January 2023. Previous cast members include Tom Felton, Mandip Gill, Beatriz Romilly, Sam Swainsbury, Tamsin Carroll, Felix Scott, Matt Willis, Laura Whitmore.

It also features set design by Anna Fleischle, costume design by Cindy Lin and lighting design by Lucy Carter.
