Taking on such a well known song by a highly commended artist with a devoted army of fans is a bold move, turning that song into an indie track is even bolder. Vistas have just released their Spotify Singles cover of Harry Styles’ ‘Adore You’, from his sophomore album Fine Line. Vistas recorded the single at the iconic Parr Street Studios in Liverpool.

The single follows the release of Vistas’ critically acclaimed album Everything Changes in the End. The band put their own indie twist on the song, truly making it their own and giving it an upbeat festival feel, something we all need this year. When speaking about their Spotify Singles the band explained that they had chosen ‘Adore You’ thanks to the “timeless quality to the melody”.

The cover itself is an upbeat and vibrant take on the original, with frenetic guitar riffs typical of the Scottish band’s sound. Vistas have done an excellent job at making the song their own, while respecting the original song. We can only hope life gets back to normal quick enough to hear them sing it during festival season.
