‘Nothing Really Matters’ is the recently released single by English singer-songwriter, Gabrielle Aplin. This new track is Aplin’s first release of 2019, and is the second single from her upcoming third album, due to be released later this year. Moving away from the stripped back piano ballad of her first single, Gabrielle Aplin experiments with a lively, synthetic pop vibe – and the venture certainly seems to have paid off.
The track bursts into a headstrong synth-pop beat followed by Aplin’s bright vocals. ‘Nothing Really Matters’ is immediately likeable with energetic claps and vibrant ‘oohs’ apparent the whole way through this enjoyable song. An undeniably catchy chorus and infectious lyrics that you can’t help but sing along to complete the track, making it another of Gabrielle Aplin’s much-loved pieces.
‘Nothing Really Matters’ is high-spirited and upbeat with a cheery vibe, making it a perfect anthem to get us in the mood for those fast approaching summer evenings.
