With fun.’s hiatus continuing and Jack Antonoff’s band Bleachers beginning to tour their new album ‘Strange Desire’, it only seems right that lead singer Nate Ruess began to branch out into his own solo career. This isn’t the first time Nate has gone solo, he was featured on P!NK’s international smash hit ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ and Eminem’s ode to his mother ‘Headlights’. Now, however, he’s got the spotlight all to himself and it comes in the name of ‘Nothing Without Love’.

The song was recorded with Jeff Bhasker and Emile Haynie, who also worked on fun.’s album Some Nights as well as ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ and ‘Headlights’. It’s as ‘fun.’ as a song can get, it has such an anthem feel. The infectious chanting towards the end of the song and Nate preaching “Some would say that I’m all alone / but I am, I am nothing without love”
