February comes in with a range of releases for all game lovers to enjoy. From foam parties in Bath Vegas, a world of ghosts and magic, setting sail on the high seas to revisiting some old haunts and saving the world from heroes, this month also brings with it the long-awaited return to Midgar.


Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League

The villains become the heroes in this comic-inspired adventure. Set five years after the events of Batman: Arkham Knight, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League follows the members of Task Force X as they try and save Metropolis. After being recruited by Amanda Waller, the team (Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, Deadshot and King Shark) discovers that the Justice League have been brainwashed by Brainiac and is attacking the city. Putting their skills to the test, the task force has to not only find the supervillain and end his schemes but try and save the heroes they once battled against…if they can even be saved at all.

Players who pre-order will unlock a set of Classic outfits for their characters, with the Rogue outfit set also available for PS5 Digital pre-orders. The Deluxe Edition includes the game, 72 hours of Early Access, Justice League outfits, three Black Mask Notorious weapons, Squad Goals weapon dolls, a Battle Pass token, pre-order bonus content and No Shade colour swatches (digital only)

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC from February 2*


Foamstars

Welcome to Bath Vegas in this 4v4 party shooter. In Foamstars, players will be able to use their foam guns and bubble beasties to create terrain, traps and all manner of things to try and win and be the best. With eight stars to choose from – six at launch, one Season Pass character and one Challenge reward – players will be able to adapt their style to find the best way to win across the different game modes. Whether you want to be the Star Player in Smash the Star, the ultimate defender in Happy Bath Survival or the duck dancer in Rubber Duck Party, Bath Vegas will surely have something everyone can dive into.

Post-launch, Foamstars will feature free seasonal updates. Seasons present players with an array of new experiences, including cosmetics, playable characters, maps, and game modes. Each season will come with an optional Premium Season Pass for $5.99. Those who purchase the Premium Season Pass will immediately unlock Season Pass characters and can earn additional season-specific cosmetics.

Foamstars will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from February 6*


Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Life, death, love and sacrifice await in the latest from Don’t Nod. Set in 1695, Banishers of New Eden follows Red mac Raith and Antea Duarte, two Banishers sent to the titular community to hunt down the source of several hauntings in the area. When their mission goes awry, Antea becomes the thing she had sworn to hunt – a ghost – leaving Red to live alone in despair. Torn between what they would want to do and what they are trained to do, the couple have to navigate their new realities and help those they can.

Players who pre-order will receive the Wanderer Set DLC pack which includes a bonus outfit and weapons. The Red Echoes Edition includes a copy of the game, the Wanderer Set, an ink writing set and an 80-page leather-effect notebook featuring 20 pages of illustrations based on Red’s memories.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC from February 13*


Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered

Lara Croft is back in this new collection. Bringing together the first three Tomb Raider games, this new collection will follow the iconic archaeologist adventurer on her travels around the globe. Solve ancient mysteries and uncover the treasures of the ancient world that were thought lost to the ravages of time. Take Lara back to Croft Manor and hone your skills on the training course before hopping on a snowmobile or even try your hand at breaking into Area 51.

Players who pre-order will receive a 10% discount on their purchase. Along with the core games, the collection will include the DLC for each game: Unfinished Business, Golden Mask and The Lost Artifact for even more adventures and achievements to unlock.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC from February 14*


Skull & Bones

Get ready to set sail in this sea-faring action adventure. In Skull & Bones, players will have to forge their way through the Golden Age of piracy. From the coast of Africa to the idyll of the West Indies, players will face many dangers as they embark on their quest to build their reputation in the pirate world by any means necessary. From building your crew, navigating treacherous seas and facing any foe who stands in your way, it is all for the glory of being the Kingpin of the seas and building a legacy that will endure forever.

Players who pre-order will receive the Highness of the High Sea pack, which includes the Notoriety Garb and the Coronation firework. The Special Edition – only available via select retailers – includes a copy of the game, Bloody Bone’s Legacy bonus mission, Death’s Hand pet and pre-order content. The Premium Edition – which is also included in a Ubisoft+ subscription – contains a copy of the game, three days Early Access, the Premium Bonus pack with the Ballad of Bloody Bones Collection of ship items, clothing and ship set, two bonus missions, a Smuggler’s Pass token, artbook and soundtrack.

Skull & Bones will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC from February 16*


Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

The next chapter in the epic story is here with the next part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake. Following on from the events of Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth picks up Cloud’s story after he and his party escaped from Midgar. With the confrontation with Sephiroth still fresh in his mind, Cloud has arrived in the village of Kalm with his friends as he ponders his next course of action. With the ever-present threat of Shinra never too far away, Cloud and his friends must explore the world outside of the city and make their way to the Forgotten Capital in hopes of finding a way to save the planet. Also searching for answers is Zack Fair, a man from Cloud and Aerith’s past with a strange twist in his own fate.

Players who pre-order will unlock the Midgar Bangle accessory, with a SteelBook case also available as a bonus via select retailers. Digital pre-orders also include a Moogle Trio Summoning Materia. The Digital Twin Pack includes a copy of both Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the game, Orchid Bracelet armour, Reclaimant Choker accessory, Magic Pot Summoning Materia, mini soundtrack and artbook. A Digital Deluxe Twin pack is also available for purchase.

The physical Deluxe Edition includes the game, SteelBook case, hardback Artbook and mini soundtrack CD. The Collector’s Edition includes a copy of the game, an Artbook, mini soundtrack CD, all the Digital Deluxe Edition content and a 48cm statue of Sephiroth by Static Arts.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be available on PlayStation 5 from February 29*


Free to Play

For those with any tier of PlayStation Plus subscription, there are three games available to download and keep for free this month, along with a bonus pack for Fall Guys. From February 6* Foamstars will be available on PS4 and PS5 alongside Rollerdrome, with Steelrising available on PS5. The Fall Guys Icons Pack, exclusive to PS Plus members, contains costumes and cosmetics for the game featuring Aloy, Ratchet & Clank for new and returning players.

Over on Prime Gaming, alongside the games available to download and keep for free, members will also have access to a new list of titles available on Amazon’s cloud streaming service, Luna, without an additional subscription. February’s games include:
