Betts’ writing is based partly, on genuine transcripts. The Dark Side of the Moon will tell the story of astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise and Jack Swigert’s battle for survival after they lose communication with Earth 77 hours into their mission, and have to navigate in total darkness as they loop around the moon.

Directed by Alastair Whatley and Charlotte Peters, The Dark Side of The Moon stars Christopher Harper as Lovell, Michael Salami as Haise and, Tom Chambers as Swigert. It will also feature Philip Franks as present day Lovell, Willie Jonah as present day Haise, Jenna Augen as Capcom, and Poppy Roe as Patricia Cooper.
