The film is an adaptation of Camille DeAngelis’ young adult novel of the same name.

The Internet’s boyfriend and Call Me By Your Name star Timothée Chalamet is reportedly reuniting with director Luca Guadagnino for a new coming-of-age horror film called Bones & All.

The film is based on Camille DeAngelis’ 2016 young adult novel about a young woman named Maren Yearly who fights to control her cannibalistic urges while searching for her long lost father. While Taylor Russell will play the lead role, it’s not clear which role Chalamet will play.

Dave Kajganich, who wrote the script for Guadagnino’s A Bigger Splash and Suspiria, is lending his talents once more. While not much else is known about the film’s plot, Deadline reports that the film “is already gaining steam,” with multiple bidders interested.

With filming due to commence on the movie in April, we’re in for a bit of wait before it hits the big screen. In the meantime, fans can get their Chalamet fix from Denis Villeneuve’s much-delayed Dune and Wes Anderson’s much-anticipated The French Dispatch, both set for release later this year.

Taylor Russell, who starred in 2019’s hugely successful Waves, just wrapped up filming the final season of Lost in Space, the Netflix science fiction television series about a family of space colonists who find themselves in danger after landing on an alien planet.
