Start Again’ is the new single by Scottish indie-rock band, Vistas. It is their first release of 2021, following on from their critically acclaimed debut album, Everything Changes in the End, which was released in May 2020. Vistas made their presence strongly felt in the UK scene in 2020, and ‘Start Again’ presents itself as a measure for the band’s visions for the year ahead — it seems they have much more in store for us in 2021.

The track boasts a welcoming concoction of energetic beats and bold chants of “start again” from the onset. Vistas have perfected their lovable, upbeat indie-vibe and seem to effortlessly produce hits, with this song no exception. The trio’s signature, easy listening energy returns, with their latest release driven by lead singer Prentice Robertson’s distinct vocals. ‘Start Again’ has familiarity and nostalgia intertwined with a vibrant, mood-lifting tempo.

Robertson revealed that ‘Start Again’ was one of the first songs he wrote after taking a bit of time off from writing. He shared that getting this song down really helped to unstick any writer’s block he was having and oiled the wheels of everything that would follow on from this track.

This bright offering certainly gives us motivation and excitement for the seasons ahead of us, and is the perfect summery anthem.
