In May 2025, Wunderhorse will embark on their largest and most ambitious UK tour yet, playing theatre-sized venues in Birmingham, Glasgow and Manchester before the final night of the tour at London’s Alexandra Palace, which has a capacity of upwards of 10k. The size of the tour symbolises the success of their second album, Midas, which was released in August 2024 and soared to No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart. The album made our very own Album of the Year list after their glowing review, which correctly predicted that “Wunderhorse are indeed ready to soar”.

Since its release, Wunderhorse, fronted by guitarist Jacob Slater, has gone from strength to strength. The album’s massive sound is expected to ignite the venues. Wunderhorse has evolved into a band known for its dynamic live performances and introspective songwriting.

They bring a gritty intensity to the stage, blending poetic lyrics with soaring guitars, capturing the spirit of 90s grunge rock while firmly rooted in the present. The band are poised to deliver raw, emotional and unfiltered performances to a fevered crowd across the country. Wunderhorse are ready to entertain bigger crowds and is set to blow the roofs off.

Tour dates:

24th May – O2 Academy, Birmingham

27th May – O2 Academy, Glasgow

28th May – O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester

29th May – Alexandra Palace, London.

Support on all nights of the tour is provided by the atmospheric Junodream, with the energetic South London based Shame joining in the fun at the Alexandra Palace. Tickets are only available through resale sites, and their official website links to Twickets.
