Album: A Moon Shaped Pool

Artist: Radiohead

Release: May 8

Thom Yorke, definitely the biggest musical tease of our time, finally delivered with this fantastic, Mercury prize nominated album. True Love Waits, rather fittingly named, had been an addition of the band’s live performances since 1995, as well as lyrics from political number Burn The Witch surfacing long ago in 2003 with Hail To The Thief. This is certainly the album the fans have waited for. With their previous solo projects making obvious interjections throughout, Yorke’s electronica influences coupled with Jonny Greenwood’s more orchestral interests, the album is an amalgamation that is a seamless joy for the ears. A combination of both energetic rock and roll in Ful Stop, and serene peacefulness found in Daydreaming, Radiohead effortlessly prove their boundless musical skill.
