5. White Lies
Since bursting onto the scene in 2009 with their fantastic debut album To Lose My Life, White Lies have become a staple in the indie scene and have been building their sound ever since. From the haunting gloomy guitar driven songs of To Lose My Life right to their synth pop sound that fills their latest album Friends.
The O2 Academy will be cast into a trance with White Lies’ epic live set sure to be a highlight of the weekend. Songs like ‘Farewell To The Fairground’, ‘There Goes Our Love Again’ and ‘Bigger Than Us’ are guaranteed to get huge reactions from the Leeds faithful.
