While listening to this song, I felt like I was in an emotional scene of a movie. This song definitely belongs on a soundtrack. Combining soundscape and a slight bit of folk, this is a beautiful piece of atmospheric music by HD Hausmann which is both relaxing and insightful.
The dynamics of the song, ‘Old Satellites’, are impressive as it really just feels like one massive build up, making this quite a reflective piece of music. It features quite a breathy and husky male voice which is endearing and also soothing. Fading into the background can be heard some guitar melodies which suit the piece really well. A faint choir like sound plays in the background adding to the calming ambience.
