West End Wilma Awards 2025

You can now vote for your theatre favourites in this year’s West End Wilma Awards.

There are 15 categories, spanning a range of theatre across the country. There is “Best New West End Play” and “Best Performer in a West End Show”, as well as “Best Off-West End Show” and “Best Touring Production”.

As well as a mix of locations, there is also a mix of performances: “Best New West End Musical”, “Best Cabaret or Solo Performance”, and “Best Edinburgh Fringe Show 2025”. Plus, never one to leave tech behind, there is a prize for “Best Lighting” too.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday 2 November at Leicester Square Theatre. Hosted by Tim McArthur, the evening promises to be a fabulous celebration of our country’s theatrical talent, with prizes and performances throughout.

West End Wilma takes all their nominations from the public, and this year, they received over 11,000. Somehow, they have narrowed it down to three per category, and now it is up to you to choose a winner.

Nominees include Titanique, which is no surprise—it has received a calibre of 4 and 5-star reviews from The Times, Sunday Mirror, and Metro. There are also classics such as Kinky Boots and Dear Evan Hansen, as well as newer shows, like Starlight Express and Midnight Cowboy

Ran by Ed Baker and his mum, West End Wilma is a UK theatre reviewing blog that has almost 10,000 followers on Instagram. The pair have been reviewing shows since 2012, and are entering their 9th year of the West End Wilma Awards.

You can attend the West End Wilma Awards 2025 on Sunday 2 November at 7:30pm at Leicester Square Theatre. Buy tickets here.
