Tom Foreman Productions’ Boiler Room Six: A Titanic Story will embark on a tour in April.

Boiler Room Six follows the true story of Frederick Barrett, one of the lead stokers working on the Titanic. Against the odds, Barrett escaped death three times and his story remains one of the most devastating accounts from the disaster.

The show pays tribute to the men who lost their lives trying to keep the ship afloat, and explores the impact the sinking had on those who survived.

The show will tour to 17 venues across Scotland and England, and will start at London’s Pleasance on 10 April, exactly 114 years since The Titanic departed on its ill-fated journey.

Tom Foreman is the writer, director and producer of the show. He will be joined by Natalia Izquierdo as technical director and Rachel Nicholson as assistant producer, and Charlie Sheepshanks will star as Frederick.

The tour follows two successful runs at Edinburgh Fringe, where it amassed a large amount of five-star reviews, and won Best Overall Show of the Festival from Derek Awards.

The production company have a strong track record in creating critically acclaimed shows. They debuted in 2021 at London’s Lion and Unicorn Theatre with Big Boys, an exploration of male friendship, and since then, have taken three shows to Edinburgh Fringe, which all received positive reviews.

A full list of tour dates can be found on Tom Foreman Productions’ website.
