Pretty Woman: The Musical has announced a nationwide tour from the beginning of October 2023 to September 2024.

Hailed as Hollywood’s ultimate rom-com, the 80’s movie stars Julia Roberts as Vivian Ward, a paramour Edward Lewis’ character Richard Gere hires to accompany him to social events. Their love story is set to a soundtrack written by Grammy award-winners Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance.

The show features choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. Scenic design will be by David Rockwell, costumes by Tom Rogers and lighting design by Kenneth Posner, with Will Van Dyke in charge of music supervision and orchestrations.

It has yet to be confirmed who will be taking the roles of the two leads.

Since its world premiere at Chicago’s Oriental Theatre in March 2018, the show has enjoyed critical acclaim internationally, transferring to Broadway at the Nederlander Theatre before moving to international theatres on tours.

The show is currently running in the West End at the Savoy Theatre. Aimie Atkinson stars as Vivian Ward, and Danny Mac plays Edward Lewis. Courtney Bowman is Kit De Luca, Andy Barke is Happy Man/Mr Thompson, Mark Holden is James Morse, and John Addison is Philip Stuckey.

The tour will commence in October 2023 until September 2024, across the UK and Ireland in over 30 locations including Birmingham, Milton Keynes and Cardiff. The full list of locations can be found on the Pretty Woman: The Musical website.
