In a recent announcement, Forthright Entertainment and Soma Games announced a minor delay for eagerly anticipated titles, The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology and The Lost Legends of Redwall: Feasts & Friends. Both games are now set for a synchronized release on February 20, 2024, following a tactical decision to optimize their launch window.

“This is a tactical move for a new release window for an important game the team have been passionately working hard on for consoles and PC,” stated the press release. “We thank the fans, media, and creators for their support, and we will see you on the 20th of February.”

The Redwall series, penned by British writer Brian Jacques from 1986 to 2011, has captivated readers of all ages with its anthropomorphic animals in the Mossflower Wood. With over 20 million copies sold worldwide, the series, featuring 22 novels and two picture books, follows the adventures of creatures like mice, moles, hares, and badgers defending Redwall Abbey against marauding “vermin.” While primarily aimed at adolescents, the series has garnered love from children and adults alike. The final novel, The Rogue Crew, was released posthumously in 2011, concluding Jacques’ legacy.

The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology, destined for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, brings the enchanting world of Mossflower to life in this narrative puzzle-driven adventure game. As Liam or Sophia, the newest members of the Lilygrove Scout Corps, players face a thrilling journey to save their home from ruthless pirates. This linear action adventure unfolds in three acts, featuring a diverse cast of characters, vivid locations, a unique scent mechanic, an array of puzzles, and visual enhancements for an immersive experience tailored for the current generation of action-adventure enthusiasts.

Meanwhile, The Lost Legends of Redwall: Feasts & Friends is set to debut on Steam in early 2024. In this cute and cosy cooking simulation game, players step into the shoes of Scout Chef Rootsworth on a mission to become the finest cook in Mossflower Wood. With intuitive controls, the game offers a delightful cooking experience, allowing players to chop, simmer, and serve in iconic locations, impressing master cooks and delving into Redwall Abbey’s engaging narrative. Explore Lilygrove, challenge hand-crafted recipes, prepare feasts for woodland friends, engage in cookoffs, and level up to unlock new recipes, including pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan options. Get ready for a culinary adventure and enjoy a heartwarming small-town story.

For those eager to step into the captivating world of Redwall, mark your calendars for February 20th, 2024, when both The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology and The Lost Legends of Redwall: Feasts & Friends will finally grace gaming platforms.
