February’s gaming outings will see players travel through time and reality, explore new stories on old streets, find new ways to survive twisted horrors and maybe even have a few laughs along the way.


Nioh 3

Change your fate and save your people in the latest from the world of Nioh. In Nioh 3, players will follow the story of Tokugawa Takechiyo as he prepares for his appointment as shogun to be completed in Edo Castle. But all is not well in the castle walls, as Takechiyo’s younger brother, Tokugawa Konimatsu, is consumed by hatred over his brother’s succession to power. So the era of peace turns to hell as Konimatsu leads a horde of yotei against Takechiyo with the help of a sinister force. With no other way to save his people and their future, Takechiyo turns to his guardian spirit, Kusanagi, to help him weave a path through time in a desperate attempt to stop Konimatsu’s darkness from consuming everything.

Players who pre-order will receive the Hellfrost Equipment set, Youngblood Samurai armour and Lone Wolf’s Ninja armour, inspired by Nioh and Nioh 2, respectively. The digital pre-order includes the Hellfire Equipment set and the Scampuss Furball Netsuke charm. The physical SteelBook Edition includes the base game, SteelBook case, and the Lucky Tanuki and Kusanagi Netsuke charms to use in-game. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, Season Pass (including two post-launch DLC add-ons) and Chijiko Natsuke charm, with the Infernal Weapons set and Kodama Natsuke charm available as a pre-order bonus.

Nioh 3 will be available on PlayStation 5 and PC from February 6*


Mario Tennis Fever

Test your court skills Mario style in this new adventure. With the biggest roster of characters assembled in the Mario franchise, Mario Tennis Fever allows players to mix and match their characters and their rackets, each of which has its own abilities, to help prove they are the best on the court. From tournaments to the Mix It Up mode – which includes effects from Super Mario Wonder – there are multiple modes for players looking to test themselves against other players. For those looking for some solo play, there is Adventure mode, where Mario and his friends have all been turned into babies and must battle monsters to get back to normal.

Players who purchase the game via select retailers will receive a limited edition Mario Tennis Fever tennis ball with their purchase.

Mario Tennis Fever will be available on Nintendo Switch 2 from February 12*


Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

A legacy is reborn, and a new legacy is forged inthe world of Yakuza. Yakuza Kiwami 3 takes players back into the saga of Kazuma Kiryu, an ex-yakuza soldier trying to stop the dangers of his past from hurting those he loves in the present. Through the streets of Okinawa and Tokyo, every detail has been improved and enhanced for this outing, creating a whole new level of immersion into Kazuma’s struggles. But his is not the only tale to discover as Yoshitaka Mine takes centre stage for the new story Dark Ties. After losing his successful business and falling on hard times, Yoshitaka made the decision to join the world of yakuza in hopes of once again finding a life worth living.

Players who pre-order will unlock the Legendary Lad bonus, which adds Ichiban Kasuga to the Ryukyu Gal Gang. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, Legendary outfit pack, Legendary Lads & Gals pack, Ryukyu Gal Gang customisation pack, Flip Phone customisation pack and Legendary BGM CD set. Those wishing to preview the game can download the demo on the platform of their choosing.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC from February 12*


High on Life 2

A new adventure awaits in this first-person comic shooter sequel. After saving humanity from the brink of extinction, High on Life 2 opens with players making their way through life as a successful bounty hunter. With fame, fortune and even love, everything has turned out well. That is, until an alien pharmaceutical conglomerate kidnaps Lizzie, the protagonist’s sister, and holds her to ransom with a price on her head. So it will be up to the player and their rag-tag team of alien misfits to bash and blast their way through whatever obstacles lay ahead in order to reunite their family and take down this new threat once and for all.

Players who pre-order will unlock the I Pre-Ordered High On Life 2 hat for selected weapons. High On Life 2 will also be available Day One on Game Pass Ultimate.

Reanimal

Find the hope in all the horror in this cinematic co-op adventure from the team behind Little Nightmares. In Reanimal, players – either in online or local multiplayer or in single player with an AI companion – will help two lost siblings who are stuck in a hellish version of their home as they try to save their friends. Hiding from twisted monsters while they explore the world by land and by boat. With only a glimmer of hope left, the siblings must work together to piece together the full story of how the dark and twisted world came to be, with each location having its own story to tell as the main path is only a fragment of the tale ahead.

Players who pre-order will unlock the Foxhead and Muttonhead masks. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game and Season Pass featuring all three DLC chapters. The physical Collector’s Edition includes the base game, pre-order DLC, Season Pass, Unreliable Memories map poster, artbook, sticker sheets, keychain, Pig statue and Bucket 4.8in mini statue in an exclusive collector’s box.

Reanimal will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC from February 13*


Resident Evil Requiem

Worlds collide in this new chapter from Resident Evil. Set decades after the Nemesis incident, Resident Evil Requiem will take players through two intertwining stories. FBI intelligence analyst Grace Ashcroft faces the ghost of her childhood as she is sent to Raccoon City to investigate a string of mysterious deaths at the Wrenwood Hotel – the same hotel where her mother, Alyssa, died years prior. While on his own investigation into the former Umbrella scientist Victor Gideon, Leon S. Kennedy is sent to the Midwest by the D.S.O after a police officer goes missing. As their paths converge and both are haunted by the nightmares of their past, both Grace and Leon need to uncover the truth of what happened in the city if they want to have any hope of escape.

Players who pre-order will unlock the Apocalypse costume for Grace. The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, Raccoon City Classic audio pack, DSO Emblem & Mr Raccoon charms, two bonus screen filters, Film Noir costumes for Leon and Grace, Apocalypse and RE4 costumes for Leon, Dimitrescu costume for Grace, bonus weapon skins and Letters from 1998 files.

Free to Play

PlayStation Plus subscribers across all tiers will have four titles to download and keep for free this month. From February 3*, both Ultros and Subnautica: Below Zero will be available on PS4 and PS5, with Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown available on PS4 and Undisputed available on PS5.
