New leaks from South Korea’s Game Rating Classification page have given fans new information on The Sims 4’s 21st expansion pack.

The new pack is reportedly titled The Sims™ 4: Royalty & Legacy, with a rumoured release date of February 2026. However, these details are yet to be confirmed by EA and Maxis, who have not made an official announcement.

EA community member Mindy_SimsCommunity addressed the rumours via Reddit, stating: “Hey Simmers. We know there’s a lot of misinformation going around. We’ll be back in early January with what to know via our official Sims channels.”

The last expansion to explore a similar theme was the 2011 standalone title The Sims: Medieval, which allowed players to run their own kingdoms through battle, diplomacy, and adventure. From knights to monarchs to wizards, players could take on a variety of roles throughout the game.

While details of the new pack remain scarce, the leaked description claims that players will soon be able to become nobles and build a long-lasting dynasty. Although it’s unclear how similar the expansion will be, it’s worth noting that it has received a 15+ Korean age rating, partly due to its “realistic depictions of violence.” As a result, players can expect the expansion to include more action-based elements.

For now, it appears to be a waiting game. However, with the current Deck The Palms Login Event ending on January 16, players may not have to wait long for more information.

The Sims 4 is currently available to play on PC, Mac, PlayStation, and Xbox.
